Pallets full of groceries in front of the Fichtehaus! What’s going on there, one or the other uninitiated person might ask. Don’t worry: we don’t hamster. We don’t hibernate either, so we stock up. Our purchasing cooperative is waking up, so to speak, from a short hibernation. Because: the new delivery for our purchasing cooperative arrived!
In the 2020 winter semester, we were able to add almost 15 new products to our range. And we had the largest delivery in the history of the purchasing cooperative:
3 pallets or 186 containers or 1.37 tons of groceries!
Of course, there is a lot of planning in advance and logistics afterwards. We notice for ourselves how our system is becoming more mature and better thought out from semester to semester. How else could we know that two huge sacks of flour fit exactly in a 60l bin?! Yes, probably not with more courage than reason or persuading the flour…
And how else could we make it so that the whole stage is full first and then everything ends up well stowed away in our treasury, uh pantry?
